Declare emergency and use pilot authority to descend without getting clearance from ATC. For example sudden icing beyond the capabilities of the airplane to fly through. I think it is highly unusual, maybe in violation of aviation rules in most countries, for a Pan Pan alert to be overridden with the flight continued as if nothing had happened.
